Cecil Hotel

In a special bonus episode, Ghostly joins Bob After Dark to talk about the super creepy Cecil Hotel. After the Netflix show Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel about the tragedy of Elisa Lam, we all knew we wanted to learn more about this place some call one of the most haunted hotels in the United States. With all the interest in this place, what paranormal evidence has been found?

Questions Explored in this Episode

What is the Cecil Hotel? When and why was the Hotel Cecil built? What is it like today, and does anyone live there? What is the dark history of the hotel? When paranormal investigators explore the hotel, what do they find? Is it haunted?

History of the Cecil Hotel

Pat explores the history of the Cecil hotel. Built in 1924, it started it’s pattern of suicides and murders soon after. Serial killers Richard Ramirez and Jack Unterweger may have stayed at the Cecil. Today it is closed with the hope of remodeling it and reopening it soon.
