Ghost Story – Bloody Mary

Listen to a special ghost story in this episode. Previous guest Cheryl (Ouija Board episode) is back to share her personal story with Bloody Mary. Her story starts like many Bloody Mary tales with pre-teen girls, a birthday party, and a bathroom mirror. What makes this one scarier is what happened after the party.

History of Bloody Mary

Pat tells the history of the legend of Bloody Mary. This word of mouth ritual has a tangled background. There are three common candidates for who the Mary is that comes to the mirror. Mary Tudor, Countess Elizabeth Bathory of Hungary, and Mary Worth. The ritual is based on the ancient technique of scrying and water divination combined with hypnotic chanting.

The Debate

Rebecca has chosen three stories people have shared online of what happened when they called for Bloody Mary. Also, listen to the special audio of Pat and Rebecca calling for her themselves. What happens? And will any of these convince Pat?
